Official Own a House!

Sorry for not updating about our house sooner! We moved in mid of August but the house closing ended on second week of September. Our house has 3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, 2 living rooms, screen room, mud room, and laundry room. We removed all carpets and we got a new carpet in den room. I want to explain a little history of our house. Den room used to be kitchen and had a pantry so former owner changed it to Den room and pantry was walled up. The current kitchen used to be porch and that's why it's small and shape like a U. We removed the carpet in den room and there was other old carpet and linoleum under the carpet. We couldn't remove the linoleum. We decided to cover the floors with thin plywoods then put new carpet over it. All rooms are hardwood except the den room. We painted green over wood panels in den room. We plan to add one more bathroom which will be in the old pantry room. The pantry is big enough for bathroom with a walk in shower. One thing that our house needs is a dining room. We eat our supper with a small dining table in the den. Will post more pictures of inside of house soon.

We are BACK!!!!

I am so sorry for not updating this blog for a while. We had been busy since Last January. Three people needed a place to live for a while so we took them in for few months and it was so crowded for us to settle down and doing the blogs. I was a senior during this time and I didn't expect that my last semester was overwhelming for me to catch up with everything! Finally, I graduated at University of Montevallo on May 8th, 2010. When I went to my graduation and I feel like it was a dream!
After I graduated, we moved to Talladega and stay with our friends for a while. I am not used to live in Talladega and I had to learn the areas- stores, restaurants, and etc. I feel like I am a new "student" in Talladega and see many new faces! haha.
Andy and Austin are doing great! Austin is getting bigger and he is now wearing 4t pants but he's still wearing 2t and 3t for tops. Austin has long legs like his mom! ;) Austin loves to play with the doughs and lego stocks. He likes to be independent and doesn't want our help but sometimes, he needs our help but he's stubborn and won't let us help.
About 2 weeks ago, we went to Myrtle Beach, Sc with Andy's parents and sister. We had a great time and wish we could stay there a little longer! Austin loved to be in beach and we couldn't get him out! Ha.
After we arrived home from Myrtle Beach, Sc, we were looking for a house and we looked more than 15 houses and we found one that we love! We accepted the offer and its progressing so we may will hear from them if we will get this house for sure. *fingers cross* I will update with some pictures from graduation, MB, SC, house, and etc when I have a chance.

Happy 3rd Birthday to Austin!

We went to Austin's favorite restaurant Chick Fila. He got a digital camera from us and Dr.. Seuss abc cards and puzzles book from Avey Jane. One more present is coming soon.... :)
