Austin's house

I was in my bedroom, working on the pictures. I put the leftover papers in the trash. Austin found them and took them out of the trash. He put them together to became a house by himself! I didn't know what was going on with him in the living room until I went to the kitchen and noticed that he was playing with leftover papers. There's a house! I was surprised! :-0

Hmm.. Maybe Austin will be an artist like his mommy! ;)

Happy Halloween!

We went to see Andy at his work. We went trick and treating at the neighborhood near Andy's work. Austin had a great time going trick and treating with us! I wish it last longer than just one day! Ha. The cookie monster costume... I had been looking many different stores for a cookie monster, no luck so I have decided to make one. I bought blue long sleeve shirt and pant that go with blue hat and mittens. The hat has batman ears but I turned it inside out and put eyes on top of it. The costume is so CUTE!

A corn was in his nose!

Last night, I was going to put Austin in bed but I noticed that he rubbed his nose and tried to get something out of his nose so I checked his nose. There was a dirty in his nose so I went to get few q-tips to clean his nose but he said "hurt" I was puzzled because I didn't put a q-tip in his nose deeply. I took him to bathroom for a better light to see. There's a yellow thing and... it was a corn! I tried everything to get it out and even I told him to blow his nose but he inhaled thru the nose instead. He's two years old and didn't understand what he was supposed to do. I was going to take him to ER but I wanted to do it one more time so finally, I got it out by using a tweezer! Whew! Haha.

Vacation

We went to Pensacola, Fla for a week with Andy's family. We had a GREAT time! Austin LOVES to swim and wanted to be independent.. He doesn't want us to hold him in the pool. We had to buy arm floats for Austin to use while he is in the pool. He swam in the pool without our help. Of course, We stayed in the pool and watched Austin to make sure noting will happen to him. I wish I could put the pictures of Austin being in the pool but I accidently turned my camera to cyan photo and those pictures are hard to see..

Austin swam in the beach and he is not crazy about it but he enjoyed playing with the sand. :)
Andy got sunburn but it went away the next day. Austin got a little sunburn. I bought a sunscreen lotion that have spf 70... and Austin still got sunburn so Andy researched on the intrenet about Austin's medications. He found out that one of Austin's medcation could cause hypersensitivity to the sun. So I had to put t shirt on him when he goes out.

We went to Peg leg's restaurant last Friday night, We ordered sea food expect Andy's dad. His dad ordered american food. Sea food is soo good! Austin liked fish nuggets!

During vacation week, Austin is still on potty training, Few weeks ago, he refused to use the toilet. But now he likes to use a toilet because he thinks using a toilet that he is a big kid! He did great on potty training and he still have accidents once in a while. He is getting better and better. Right now, I got rid of diapers and He uses pull ups for bedtime only. :)

Next Monday, Austin will have a heart catherization and Please remember to be praying for him. Thanks!

Potty Training...

Austin is now potty training. I took him to Babies r us and let him to pick the potty. There have many different kind of potties, he picked a frog potty. This week is 3rd week that Austin had been potty trained. He did very well! Of course, he had accidents but he is learning. He knows when its time to go, he went to the potty but the problem is now that Austin does not understand that he is supposed to tell me when he needs to go while we were away from home. I am not concerned about that, yet. 3rd week is too early for him to be completely potty-trained. I am looking forward not spending money on diapers anymore! :)

Austin's new looks!

Last Thursday, We have decided to let Austin's cute curly hair go because the summer is coming. We borrowed a friend's hair trimmer. 2 people hold Austin because he won't be still. I shaved his hair off. He looks completely different! When I look at him, he looks like a big boy. ha-ha..

Austin's first snow!

It was Austin's first time experiencing snow! You know that Alabama rarely snows... The snow came here last sunday. We were very excited, went outside, and played! I lost Austin's red mittens so Katrina had to go to the store and bought children-sized gloves. They only have children-size gloves. They costed 40 cents! Austin had to wear the oversized gloves but they didn't bother him at all. The snow was gone in the afternoon! :(

Happy Birthday to Andy!

Happy Birthday to Andy! (2/6) We went to Olive Garden and his friends were there to celebrate his birthday! Andy got a GPS from me, Austin, his mom, dad, and sister Bethany.... And Andy got some new clothes from me! Andy had a great time at Olive Garden! :)
